AMAZARAK: 'ASCENSAO DO ANTICRISTO'-CD 2009-BRA-9 TRACKS:
I took contact with this band In my first trip through to Brazilian lands. There i knew to CAVALO BATHARY (VOCALIST AND FRONTMAN of this band) and these times he had left to MAUSOLEUM band and I was nervous for which would be the way of their new band called AMAZARAK,But when I received their Cd-r demo I stayed quite because I liked so much and only I wanted for their first output to eating so quickly as I could!!!. well, my first listen through this masterpiece was all I wanted it to be a debut album and the while that I was awaiting for it,I got rewarding. Musically it's some of the most crazy Black/thrash metal never created at this side of the world. how we can define the whole album by the way is very solid , more focused into the vein of MOTORHEAD, MAUSOLEUM earlier BULLDOZER and VENOM and If you needs more comments and influences also I can mentioned such as: RATTUS, TERVET KAADET , RAW POWER and COLERA E ATAQUE EPILEPTICO (hehehe)....is not melodic music morewell the tracks sounds very raw and ultra faster...meanwhile, AMAZARAK do posses a brutal vocalist with an amazaing stronger voice and excellent musicians in compositions and arrangenments, and I wish to say thanks SATAN by this wonderful band...it just a great album and has all heavyness, speed, aggressivity and everything that all headbangers needs are here....awesome band, awesome album, awesome singer..and everything this band does right, they do it well......get it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!8.8/10

The thrash metal in BRAZIL never died..is alive and more stronger than ever..And here is the best shown of that... I'm really happy when i heard that they still keeping the old flame alive in the true Brazilian thrash metal essence without mixing, on their roots, sung in portuguese As I did before bands like ANTHARES and it just it goes in the same way.. But do not believe that is only a carbon copy...Also they have adding some fresh touches that reminds me to COMANDO NUCLEAR. the music is very simple I prefer named as THRASH/PUNK or CROSSOVER, where the simplicity of draws and complexity in rhythms were leaving a side to follows with the unvirtuosism of the hardcore punk of these bands like ANTI CIMEX, COLERA, etc... This band was created by the true worshipers of the original thrash metal, which was born of the perfect union between heavy metal and punk... BLASFEMADOR is another Brazilian band which we must keeping to check it to them on the way!!! good work..6.8/10...............................................................................
