BAPHOMET THRONE HELLS INTERVIEW-JUNE 2013

1.-BAPHOMET THRONE HELLS was born after 2 previous bands as SATAN FLESH and ATMOSFERA FUNEBRE, what provide us this new monstrosity that you didn´t gave us with your other bands? B. A cleanly and more worked sound, lyrics with more vision and more spiritual conception and well structured in order to develop and canalize our capacities to the dark cult and the ritual of death that we execute .... Also many years of experience on the underground ambit placing us as a band with people who have enough national support and also South American support to break heads on our presentations.!! Hatred, anger and proselytism anti-Christian are still valid with BTH as with the previous bands. 2.-Talking about the sound, I heard it like the SATAN FLESH sequence, Could be this because you have enlisted to ASMODEUS, who is also a member of this horde? B. - Actually those are two completely different bands. SATAN FLESH was an awesome band imposed by the speed, a band with a lot of technique imposing South American black metal, it´s a shame its descent this times. But now I announce a return under another alignment and even with a recording studio ... I should also clarify that B.T.H. is a band that was born under the leadership of ASMODEUS, it´s completely his idea looking for a self-expression to which we were called and added into this big demoniac horde today ..! 3.-Something happened in your previous bands was that many of your songs were created in your room, using help with a PC and that in my opinion makes your recordings sounded too digital, Will you keep still using technology for the recordings of the band or will you use the old system? B. - mmmm .... None of the recordings or songs of ATMOSFERA FUNEBRE were created on that way, those were created during our trials and on the classically way, structured in the rehearsal room. Now used elements such as editing programs and audio creation to digitize any idea is not uncommon this days among the bands that have more developed awareness to exploit these technologies at its best, I have used these tools to capture my thoughts on my personal projects that do not have relation with my bands. 4.-The band is rather peculiar because they have not distributed material yet (at least you didn´t distribute yet when I saw him a few months ago), and you are being presented at many shows with very good reception. How much do you think it helps the name of the line-up to BAPHOMET HELLS THRONE acceptance of? What it offers the band on alive show to who haven´t had the chance to see them in a live show yet? B. – Well the experience and the years that we have paying tribute to the metal it has given us a special place in our scene, all members of BTH come from different large hordes that have released great and unique materials in the history of Bolivian underground ... Asmodeus (ex Necromancy, Bestial Holocaust, Satan `s Flesh) Jesus Death (Atmosphere Funebre, Bestial Holocaust, SOS, Worship the Pestilence) and myself ( Atmosphere Funebre, Bestial Holocaust, Satan `s Flesh and other bands which I momentarily pass and bands out of my country which I recorded vocals as a Spiritualism and Pogrom of Arg in certain special topics) 5.-Why did you decide to put aside your ATMOSFERA FUNEBRE band, having you already built a name in the scene and be known by the specialized scene (magazines, radios, etc.)? B. – I do not leave it aside although we decided to give us some time to be more awareness and canalize our dark energies on the devout essence of ATMOSFERA FUNEBRE this days, we are writing new songs between Jesus death and I, actually we are the only two ATMOSFERA FUNEBRE real line-up since the beginning. We had been friends and a lot of warriors on the line-ups of the band but none of them stayed into it for our decision, for many reasons we have excluded these allies of the black metal!
6.- ATMOSFERA FUNEBRE made several international shows in ARGENTINA and PERU. Can you tell us about those experiences? How did you find those scenes if you compared with the BOLIVIANA scene? B. - With the same customs ...! All South America on the real underground scene has the same customs; it has the same limitations and the same potential. We enjoyed the metal excesses and we know pleasant people and great personajes, we lived the history of each country within its borders. As a band we did what we knew to do leaving the name of our country up! 7.-What are the most serious problems faced by your other bands and your current band with recordings, shows, trials, etc.. What did it make to don´t materialize your work or What endanger a professional album? B. - The work of each members of the band puts time limits to us, especially to me because I work out of the town. After that we haven´t another inconvenient. and it will come soon the professional disk of B.H.T and later the ATMOSFERA FUNEBRE recording! 8.-Listening the songs of BAPHOMET THRONE HELLS, those are built on the same vein of SATAN FLESH, short´s, heavy´s and fast´s songs. The band wants to be the NUNSLAUGHTER of South America (hahaha!!) B. - I think Nunslaugther wants to be South American hahaha!!! Or it used to be like that ... of course such a comparison is reasonable for the devotion that we have to true death metal, black magic, devotion and cult! Actually both ATMOSFERA FUNEBRE as BAPHOMET THRONE HELLS enjoy the blessings of the South American metal finding their own sound.
9. - Asmodeus accompanies you on guitars and JESUS DEATH in drums, Is this your perfect line-up? Why don´t you include a bassist in your live presentations?
B. – The perfect line-up, as you said, for the moment it doesn´t exist someone who coverts our ideological believes ...! And share the spirituality, the full commitment and devotion to what we preach, you can find a lot musicians everywhere but it´s hard to find people who has the courage or the guts to make real and extreme metal with Satanic or Luciferits slogans and precepts! 10.-Your BESTIAL HOLOCAUST begun with the recording of the spectacular demo ODIO Y MUERTE’ and the first Ep. both were fantastic. What you can tell us about that experience? B. - The best and real times of Bestial Holocaust, it was gratifying to see grow up the name in a moment of true spiritual expression and belief of words philosophy and unchristian structures, it was for me an unfortunate event for a betrayal, during the facts of some nefarious Impostor made by a previous member of the band as well as the new members of the band assumed the head with banal ideas and plagiarism lewd, divinely masturbating in the past of a great horde ..! 11.-Why do you left BESTIAL HOLOCAUST? Talking about the way that you see after you left BESTIAL HOLOCAUST, do you think to that band lot change in the musical way? B. - I felt betrayed by the people around me, the band have been predisposed to change their stance, sound and philosophy. We should looking for what is best for us and something whit you feel good ..! and bestial it wasn´t food for my soul anymore for the unrespect that Satanel imposed to the name ...! 12.-Talking about BESTIAL HOLOCAUST, this is the last question that I do of your first band, Will you keep using the IMPOSTOR song in your recordings or alive? (Knowing that the song is yours .. of your first band) B. - I do not use anything in favor of ATMOSFERA FUNEBRE. We play the song because it belongs to us... the question should be that if bestial holocaust will continue using and defaming songs that does not belongs to them knowing from where comes the authorship and the roots...! Looking into this issue I throw words of threat and physical torture at the heads of the bestial holocaust prohibiting such a demonstrations and giving them to assume the replicas of our fury. After they plagiarize the final extermination they never touched the songs alive again, that should tell you something, isn´t it?
13.-Let's talk about the music, personally I call it pure DEATH / BLACK SouthAmerican metal, almost without EUROPEAN OR NORTH AMERICAN influence, your growled voice makes your songs sound more like a death metal music. How could you describe the sound of the band for whom has not had a chance to listen it yet? B. - You have described it very well .. ! Death black metal or black death metal with the purest sound rooted in the Old South America! 14.-In the lyric is obvious the Satanismt, from the name of the band to each track, is it simply hatred to Christianity or do you have a preliminary study of obscure texts to write the tracks? B. – We have assumed a greater awareness on the topics of the lyrics for each track, trying to provide it real proportions that our spirituality wants to express on that way we have been dedicated to the study of different pagan cultures rooted in the past parallel to demonic demonstrations, satanic, luciferists and ancient arcanes 15.-For many Bolivians and Peruvians who we share a common history, the ancestral issues are present in your bands. In your previous band ATMOSFERA FUNEBRE you included a track in Quechua. Are you thinking to also incorporate a pagan track in Quechua in this band, or maybe Andean mythological tracks? How were you with that experience and reception when you played that tracks alive by the bangers? B. - Well I have studied different cultures and I found links between them for anyone who appreciates the magic that we can find in the Andean cosmovision this can easily the worldview this fact, so far I have not used a dialect in the songs for the moment as the same way that we did with Atmosfera Funebre during the times were we used the Andean magic in their songs against Christian Jewish dogma. In his time was well accepted, by more than enjoyed and savored for those who has heard and spirituality rooted. 16.-Many people doesn´t know of the important support you give to the underground and many bands, even losing money, often or almost always. What would you say to those people who see with envy this? What are the satisfactions did you receive to give too much support? Will you continue supporting the underground scene? B. – I don´t fucking care the envy of people, it doesn´t help, it has not value and it´s just a shit for me, take into it can only hinder my appreciation of my life and actually I do nothing for those who fill the mouth of a fake illusion and live in a Yankees Nordic scene and fashion mannequins, their voice and their tongues only serve to devise poisonous on the scene of course always trying to get attention that they don´t have in their pathetic life, really doing nothing and being nothing for this, which for someones is our life, paying tribute and being devil worshipers of metal! I work in favor of the extreme metal, for real devout underground people, I am the voice of Satan, Lucifer in my environment, I have been blessed by the lighting and the excesses of black metal! I will continue supporting my country to my scene and South America as I have always done without a particular interest!
17.-During the years that we are friends I knew all your bands and lately I have been listening again the ODIO Y MUERTE demo many times, and I would like to say that is one of the fucking best South Americans demos even of your 4 bands. What do you think is the best work accomplished by your bands, talking about musically and in your voice work? B. - All of them for my, each of my lyrics written and regurgitated, vomited and sung with real feeling and passion tore my soul in the tables! And all of them left a legacy in different formats that the cult precedes .. I am an avid lover of the works of ... ATMOSFERA FUNEBRE! But I must say that today BAPHOMET THRONE HELL`S invokes inspiration to me in a real and better spiritual life creating for me ties with my immediate environment and providing me the magic that lives into this relentless horde, trying to don´t go away from the reality in which I live, in which I put all this wisdom acquired, widespread and inspiring. As an architect I belong to a society that don´t pigeonhole or discriminates against me for the different ideals of life, philosophy or the way to I live my life. Or better yet, I do not let to they pigeon-holed me in their false morals and worldliness 18.- What is the band working on? What are your next projects? B. –We had been writing and recording. We released a single with 5 tracks and we will launch the demo that you know to the world and we are entering the studio to record the new songs. Also playing alive and plaguing us of new followers who share this feeling, thirst and hunger for knowledge and infernal lighting, we decided to provide to the world with all our work at the same time. 19.-when will you place a show in Lima? Have you had invitations? B. - I received invitations to go to your country but we are expecting for confirmations as soon as possible, we hope to be there and share with old friends from the Peruvian scene ..! 20.-What is the final message that you want to leave to the South Americans and worldwide death bangers? B. – Fuck up everyone! Let’s expand the black prayer for South America and for the world. Let’s fill up with hatred and black fire our hearts. Lets burn it down the fake doctrines from the weak, their symbols, their churches. Lets destroy all that fake acts of Christian faith, The Cradle of greed and selfishness ... are into it ...! Time will show up their judgments to those people who acts in honor of his own truth, who is pretty sure to do the right thing should not fear ...! CALIGULA:’GRAVEYARD LIVE RITUAL’-5 TRACKS-TAPE 2012-PARAGUAY: This work is the most raw prove of true sound of the band, because it is a live recording, clear and direct without makeup. Now the 5 tracks I sounded in his true dimension, of simple riffs, sometimes a la BULLDOZER/VENOM, others are mixed with something of HRADCORE/PUNK FINNISH,and combined with the first times of impaled Nazarene, these bands make it without a doubt the sound of this work. Many people will think that this review is somewhat different from the work ' ritual of lust diabolical', Basically is very similar to this work, but to be a work alive, these always gives us the bands without much musical arrangements or half words. The only thing that I dislike of this tape is the few tracks that has 3 tracks sung in perfect sound 80 's, 1 intro and 1 instrumental , then 3 tracks. The sound mixing are not good, but neither is it poor (I hear Worst) it leaves to listen well. Something interesting thing is the fact that the tracks are strongly influenced by a raw sound, pure & crude is mixed with the rough sound of the tracks sung in Spanish it is doing of this mix something very powerful working on tape is very well done as all the work of UNDER RECORDS FROM BOLIVIA, who has been really fantastic for giving us a new piece of SOUTH AMERICAN BLACK METAL ART…………………..7.5/10 ABRAHEL: ‘IMPLACABILIS PROCELLA CUPIDITATIS’-CD 2012-SPAIN.- Previous to this work I did a review of their EP ‘ BACK FROM THE UNDERWORLD’, Which had a great pleasant impression to me, leaving so clearly the high level of the black metal bands from SPAIN. This work does not do any more to confirm the growth of this band, although of this work includes previous tracks of their EP ‘BACK FROM THE UNDERWORLD’ and only two new tracks were included. And both tracks are showing how the band has grown of the beginning until our days, a growth both in the musical line , professionalism and lyrics… This work has been released by AZERMEDOTH records from MEXICO and it included a MEXICAN tour as supporting to this recording and others countries from South American introducing this work to all black metal bangers, and it had obtained good critics of the specialized media and this zine was not stopping to saying the same of this work.. GREAT!!! ABRAHEL is a band that it leaving their underground path and advances to big steps to be between the great names of the black metal movenments soon. The tracks are well constructed under solid bases, when we speaks about solid bases I mean that the rhythms are complex but very strong that they receive with any easily the rhythm changes without losing force. Sometimes it is difficult to think of comparing bands but ABRAHEL its going to the way left by EMPEROR with its respective own sound. Undoubtedly this album meets to us to a stable band on a way that goes directly to leave a trace inside in the black metal movement. GREAT WORK!!!....................................8.5/10 MUERTE POR MIL CORTES: ‘PROMOTIONAL CD –TAKEN FROM THE LATEST LP’- SPAIN.- Lately nothing surprised me about the band sounds. Specially if the bands are coming from SPAIN. The bands has taken extremely care in quality of production and music, there’s in all tendencies such as black metal/heavy/doom/thrash/grind and of course extreme death metal, powerful and heavily. Surely the first idea that you’ve in mind when speaks of Spanish band is AVULSED, but in this chance I have another point of view, this band is keeping these brutal riffing but adding more influences of great bands in the riffs construction, that it includes more deeply in technic likely NILE and adding the brutality parts as BRUTAL TRUTH. This is the best side of the work, that surely it is the most interesting fact on this LP. .Another important fact is in the parts of the arrangements in guitar that he has many cool arrangements that makes it appear to NILE and for me it is a very important part in this work that elevates him to a good level. Each track keeps high doses of extremism with the fast drums characteristic in this type of death metal, with guttural vocal without falling into the GORE music, making highly eating all tracks. Very good performance and a great discovery for me to learn how new bands with great future… good work… … … ..7.4 /10

APRIL 2013- REVIEWS

ATMOSFERA FUNEBRE/GOATSKULL: ‘PARTOS ANCESTRALES’-TAPE SPLIT 2011.- This is an alliance between the two infernal hordes, one of them is ARMOSFERA FUNEBRE that comes from Bolivia, with a powerful sound and interesting black / death metal only with a sound inspired by South American Death/black metal. Where the tracks are short but very direct and violent riffs, So perfectly done with the intense and devastating voice of BOREAS in a death metal version that gives you the necessary power to the tracks is needed. Interesting to hear a live track where the band shows why FENRIZ select to them from your list of new bands that seemed interesting. Another point is to hear the classic track IMPOSTOR from BESTIAL HOLOCAUST, touched by the true creators of the track, this version was already in the demo sung with hatred and death by BOREAS which became a classic of the band. GOATSKULL is a Mexican band that plays simple and classical black metal without innovations but not for that leave to sound acceptable and interesting the proposal as a new Mexican horde usually on this side of the continent do not hear many MEXICAN bands. The basic truth is the black metal music, without any novelty, heavily influenced by the European sound, I would have liked to hear a sound more oriented to what was done by the great Mexican bands like XYBALBA And AVZHIA, but no. It's another simple black metal band as tons more.... The tape is listenable........ 7/10 TOTEMTABU: ‘NOVENA DAS QUIMERAS’-BRA 2012-TAPE-6 TRACKS.- Definitely the band are sounding exclusively Brazilian 80's metal and it is alive with this band, raw and insane black metal without poses or false modern rhythms. The band give us is only pure and dirty black metal, on the way of primitive NECROSCHIZMA AND BESTYMATOR, very heavy and fast times in riffs and drums but is well on the way of doom metal rhythms. The band is not technical, it's more the tape is recorded unmixed crudely done on purpose by the band to sound more underground, knowing that many miss bands like INSULTER, BESTAIL WAR, NECROFAGO, etc.. So is TOTEMTABU, a band that does not have many technical and knows how to play but for true lovers of the Brazilian sound of the 80's is the HOLY GRAIL of black / death metal (a satanic grail of course!!!). Personally I like a lot of this kind of black / death metal in their bases first choose the harshness and brutality instead of creating harmonious melodies to sound nice and please the audience. Hymns bases are made in written and performed by celebrities, lyrics and music essentially are dark & rotten. Tracks like FORCA E FUMACA and ABUTRES E SERPENTES are the perfect example of the evil chants. Good work for lovers of black / death metal Brazilian 80's ............................................................... 7.5/10 MOSHINGUN: ‘MIGHTY THRASHING METAL’-TAPE 2011-CHILE.- Does anyone have any doubt of the quality of Chilean bands? I don't think so, since so far no any band was disappointed in quality music, concept, harmony, but the only thing that I always put in doubt is in the feeling South American, because the characteristic sound of this side of the continent is not, in general is present very little or nothing. The band goes on the way of thrash metal 80's, basically is a mix between SACRED REICH, VIOLENCE, HEATHEN with a lot of hardcore/thrash ala CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER & A.O.D in the vocals parts. Sometimes are sounding weak and others comes in perfect concept. The musical line Needless to say this is of high technical quality, the tracks are well built with many changes of rhythms, with riffs typical of the Bay Area. All tracks are well played together with very good guitar solos making it a staple in each composition. I have no doubt already of know why CHILE is having a great power in the South American thrash metal scene. The band is taking the musical career with great professionalism. The tape is of good quality and excellent choice of tracks. Good work……………………7.8/10

REVIEWS- MARCH 2013

BULLETS OF KHAOS: ‘SELF TITTLE’ CD-R PRO- 2012’-5 TRACKS- BOLIVIA: Here a new band of retro-thrash once Again, which is not a bad thing but so little very good in my opinion, because the mainly of bands bring nothing new to the scene rather and many are only a carbon copies of the past and does not have too much imagination. The tracks are weak in Concepción, speaking specifically from those created by the band 3 tracks only, that are typical of thrash metal in the 80's way and mixed with THE FORCE AND VIOLATOR, but with a very weak vowels that do not fit into the music, being the worst part of this work. The music is simple and brings nothing new to the thrash metal scene, but it isn't bad, there are some rhythms that sound interesting, but when you start the vocal parts you feel the urge to turn off the CD player. The best thing is the cover version of BATALHA FINAL of TAURUS band (Brazil),very well done. If you want to improve you have to work real loud and change the vocalist urgent!!!... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... …………………………………................................6.3/10 Bxoxkx@gmail.com VLESDLY: ‘ HAIL LUCIFER LORD OF HELL’-CD 2011-10 TRACKS: Not often I hear some bands Uruguay, already is in music and news. VLESDY is the 2nd band of black metal that arrived to me in years of this brother country, and I am sure that this is the more active of the Uruguayan scene by the comments I got for many friends. Truly I didn't surprise in terms of the music, which by the way on that side of the South of the continent in general the majority of bands are very influenced by the European sound and this is no exception. HAIL LUCIFER LORD OF HELL' is going in the vein of the early GORGOROTH/DARK FUNERAL, very crude and basic, without much mixture or pretensions of technique in making elaborate tracks, the mainly of tracks are speed, hardness and power. I have to say that taste much serious lie, it is a band of basic black metal without many innovations, but nor do I dislike the music. I hope a next wok that makes them to improve production and conception of best tracks……………………………………..7.1/10 Vlesdly gmail.com www.vlesdly.com TREITUM: ‘1936’ CD SPAIN 2011- 6 TRACKS: Honestly this work is overwhelming for me. I must admit I am a big fan of doom metal in its purest essence and real melodies without modism or tragic or environmental testing to give this ambient of funeral. TREITUM is a band you just know but no longer see their true potential. This work is a masterpiece of classic doom metal done before by PENTAGRAM / St VITUS, with a small dose of remembers to first works of MY DYING BRIDE in the lethal dose of sadness, only that something small in that memory, because the riffs are completely inspired by rhythms from beyond the grave, very slow tempo, very little depressive, doom metal is simply in the strictest way of heaviness. The tracks are very long and extremely doom ala St VITUS, which can sometimes sound a bit monotonous but if one takes care rhythms are powerful firecrackers of death and its very different from each other. Definitely a return to the bands of the late 70's and mid 80's with a fresher sound ... great work .................................................................................7.5/10 Treitumband@gmail.com www.discosmacarras.com INFECTOR: ‘ANGUISH’ CD 2011-BRASIL-9 TRACKS: Basically we are dealing with a band that respects the word DEATH METAL well played, great power that many people love in the 80's, with no additions or rare or gore grind rhythms, only DEATH METAL made in the old 80's. the band maintains that crude, dirty sound morbid art of playing guitar riffs and crushing out, perhaps because one of its members played in that great band VULCANO if not gods of South American DEATH / BLACK METAL. So infector is faithful to the sound made by the Brazilian gods. The music is fast, morbid and total power, both in riffs and vocals. The tracks are smooth and facts should be unapologetic about the fact that people are matures and they knows what they wants and gets it. A band that plays death metal and 100% pure South American way. Do you needs know more. The best thing about this work is that it includes 'FROM THE BLACK METAL BOOK' track tribute to Vulcan. GREAT WORK………………………...............7.5/10 IMPERIO NOCTURNO: ‘OPUS TEM OMP AB’-CD 2011-BOLIVIA-15 TRACKS: For me this band was a great find, I had already heard of them when I was in house of ALVARO (Ex guitarist of NECROMANCY and SATAN FLESH) a few years ago, at that time for some beers and was drunken I does not pay attention to the music, after a few years I got the CD, which came out first on tape and has been pressed in CD format by the Bolivian label RAW BLACK CULT records giving us the pleasure of listening to this very good band and not let it into forgot it. This band was a project of two insane minds ALVARO (NECROMANCY/SATAN FLESH/HELLSMOKE) & SATANAEL (BESTIAL HOLOCAUST) and is very different from their previous bands. This is a black metal that is on the ways of depression, sometimes with soft rhythms and others go for a mid tempo black metal to reminds to done for ISENGARD. This work is more serious SOUTH AMERICAN response of this band. This work seems to be divided into two times, the first time the tracks are stronger in riffs and sometimes parts faster and other mid paced with some guitar solo's. The second part of the final tracks are full of arpeggios and depression in a slower, the vocals are not quite to my liking but that is by mixing the sound engineer, but no longer a great work. Also we have added four bonus live tracks not included in the version tape. The artwork is very good and high quality of the booklet highlighting the cartoon. good work………………………………………..7.5/10

ABRAHEL INTERVIEW- MARCH 2013

1.-Since the beginning of the band, which has been the more difficult or the harder it has happened to the band? The first years were hard. Since then the most difficult it’s been to keep a permanent, stable and regular line-up in the band. Otherwise the harder was in 2003 when we were going to start the recording of our first album, one of us suffered an accident and the band rested in lethargic silence until the end of 2006. 2. - The Band is only 3 members, for this style of metal that you’re playing; don’t feel like you need another guitarist to give more weight to the band sound, or volume to the music? If so what would be the profile that they would ask for another member? I don’t think it’s necessary because I’ve always loved the trio bands or where there’s only one guitar like Venom, Sodom, Motörhead, Mayhem, Morrigan, Immortal, Tulus, Tsjuder, Destruction and so on… Of course another guitar would enrich our sound with more shades and blends, and it would be fine to play with one more guitar doing other harmonies in our gigs as I record them in the albums. Is hard to find the right person to join Abrahel but I’m not closed to that. By the way if you have the chance to see us blasting on the stage I can assure you that you won’t miss a second guitar. 3. - Are you satisfied with the people response of the metal underground for the work of the band? Yes, because underground never responds to trends and fashions of any time. That’s a work for another kind of people (they call themselves “musical journalists”) being a one more piece of a big established engine more worried to label, tag, catalogue and surf on the wave of the moment. Being paid by the big record companies just to write great reviews of some mediocre bands, and some “old glory” bands that have released some shitty albums that afterwards no one will remember or no one will listen again. The underground is out of the business and is where Abrahel belongs and always shall be, because we’re a honest and a purist band who believes in what is doing, and will remain for the next centuries playing Black Fucking Metal and worshiping the Unholy Forces of The Underworld. I’m so proud to say that until today we’ve had an exquisite relationship and dealings with everyone who’s been interested in the band by any radio-station, fanzine, webzine, etc. because they listened the band, they liked it and have decided (like you) to support Abrahel giving us the chance to appear in their media without any kind of financial will, because all of them (and you) do it for free with all their passion and the most of times (if not always) they have to spend a lot of money just for keep doing what they love the most like us. The Mainstream knows that the Underground will stay forever and stronger, because if one thing it’s been good for the music that’s been the internet and the free downloads. Why you have to pay nowadays 15-20€ for a shitty album when you can download it, listen and delete it after for free? Do you know the high quantity of bad albums I bought some years ago when I had no internet connection, and cd’s that I have in my home that I never listen or maybe has listened once or twice? Underground people will download your album for free, will listen it and if they like it just be sure that they’ll find the label and the distro or will contact the band to buy it and have the original copy with all the lyrics and the art. 4. - As a black metal band, I would like to know that new proposals are adding to the usual sound of the band, which makes them different from other bands of the genre? The most significant details that make Abrahel a bit different from the other bands of the genre is that, talking about our music, we’re not a band with a strict and closed stereotyped style where all songs are sounding similar, and all have a high defined structure with a regular length of 3-5 minutes. You can listen in our recordings all of what Black Metal is about, and talking about our lyrics you can read a conceptual story which started in our first album and it will continue on the next episodes the band will record. Every album is an episode of that story and every song in the albums is a chapter, so you will have to listen and read Abrahel a couple of times just for getting everything that’s inside our musical concept. 5.-The band use flutes, specifically as this instrument enters the themes at the time of creating them? I recorded a flute at the final part of “The Priests of Transition” song from our first album, and surely it will be blown again at our next because there’s a song that requires it. It doesn’t mean that I will use it again, but if while creating a song I think is necessary I will do it with no regret. I’m from Catalunya but all my family is from a zone in the north of Spain called Aragon, and I used to play some traditional music from there when I was young because always have loved its folklore. I like and enjoy playing traditional instruments and at the next album I’ll play some more for sure. 6. - Ideologically the black metal has various streams and different ways of viewing the Satanism. In which way you are facing the ideology of ABRAHEL? In our case is not only a matter of Satanism, religion, a dark hobby or a childish façade to sell a fake image of us. We worship the Unholy Forces of the Underworld and have our own philosophy regarding to score our lives, walking through the Left Obscure and Glorious Path along these infested lands. Trying to face this holy crap called society. We’re an apolitical band and we hate any kind of politics in music and life. And more this moment in our tainted and rotten by corruption country we have to survive in. Of course we respect (and wanna be respected) everyone, because I think music is a strong way to express yourself and your idealisms, but Abrahel is above that all although you can read something between the lines in our texts. 7.-Being Spain along with Italy the European country with the most followers to worship Satan, having multiple orders to the worship of the goat, the members of ABRAHEL belong to any sect? If you are, which is the order and which precepts to follow? No. A sect (of any kind) is the operating theatre where brains are removed and replaced. 8. - Well let's talk about specifically the music and your releases. You were included in LEGION OF TCHORT #2 from Peru, a Cd-r compilation focused to the most blasphemous and darkest way of the metal underground. Thanks to this and my friend Carlos Leo who gave me this compilation I could listen to your band. There, I could check the great growth of the Spanish scene that has nothing to envy to the Nordic, This just gave me to think, apart from the Basque and Catalan bands, many of the Spanish underground bands, they are going to put aside the sound in common European black metal. Do you think there are differences between yourselves and the Nordic bands? There is a Spanish sound of black metal? Where the ABRAHEL sound is going? That’s fine, because I have discovered lots of good bands in compilations. That’s the idea of it. It’s been always a good scene in Spain, but now it seems to be more quantity of good and other bands, but that’s not only a Spanish merit, I think. Nowadays people has the technology in their hands at home, and is so much easier to record music than years ago with a “pro tools”, “QBase”, “Nuendo”, etc. Under my point of view I think there are not too many differences between the scenes of every country, because this is a global stream. And in the case of Black Metal we’re talking about something that was born in some many different places in the world more than less at the same period, which it had afterwards a great rebirth ten years after in some many different places in the world, (Not only in Scandinavia) and that’s still alive in its own “evolution”. Fortunately we cannot talk about a “Spanish Black Metal sound”, because every band here has its own idiosyncrasy and sound. And talking about Abrahel there won’t be anything different in the future from what you can listen in our last release. You can see an improvement from the first release, and that’s what you’ll be able to find in our future sound. Just moving closer around how we know we should sound. 9. - How was approaching between ABRAHEL and LEGION OF TCHORT? Are you satisfied with their work and promotion? It was in a time when “MySpace” was a useful tool for promoting bands. He was very excited and totally raved about the band. In 2009 I sent him a promo copy of our first album while touring in USA with Archgoat, and he decided to include Abrahel in his B.M. compilation #3 with the song “Morkath The Wrathman”. Well… Maybe pleased but not satisfied. He’s done a good work according to his possibilities but not according to his skills in my personal opinion. But anything that comes to Abrahel that can make our music, story and philosophy arrive to someone around the globe is always welcome. 10. - What advantages and disadvantages Do you see in offering your sound for the compilation CD’s? I think is a big deal, because that’s a chance that everyone has to discover great new bands. I’ve discovered lots of good and great ones in several compilations… 11. - I know that apart LEGION OF TCHORT released in CD-R pro printed the EP. How was the contract? How many copies he sent you and how many were sold? Are you satisfied with the promotion on this side of America? That was an EP with some songs from our first episode full-length. There was no contract apart from the word of a man, which I thought it would be enough coming from a good friend and a fan of Abrahel. He sent us nothing and still don’t, and no notice about how many he has sold and distributed for promoting it. 12. - Well, let's talk about the composition of the tracks, those are built as sequences, each topic is structured to make the following as a continuation. How do you begin to build the tracks in terms of structure strictly? Well… I don’t have a strict tightened pattern or a strong guideline. I know what I have to tell in every moment, because I have all my concepts clear and settled from a long time ago. And the intention is composing the right music for it. Or I compose some music that it suggests me to be played in some present or future parts of my story because I find it fits remarkably well. My usual way of working when building the tracks is creating a chaos with everything I have gathered for every chapter (Our albums are episodes of my story and they are divided in chapters working as tracks), and then I have to put all the pieces in order declining and refusing many of them, or sometimes creating some new ones to make a song sound as it should be an Abrahel song. 13. - At the time of creating, where the draws come from? As said before I have everything in my mind from a long time ago, and mostly of all parts of my story and their concepts clear and settled, and I only have to develop them putting everything in order forming the chapters (songs) inside the different episodes (albums) just for telling the story of the Demon Abrahel. 14. - The music is direct without much atmosphere and that is something that the fans like it, for me I prefer these as well. At time of playing alive what we can see of ABRAHEL? When you are playing alive what goes through your mind when interpreting the subjects? All you can see from us in stage is a direct and straight band playing Black Fucking Metal in all of its expressions. A blasting powerful discharge without much paraphernalia letting our music and the atmosphere we create talk for us. Lots of people who’ve been in our shows have told us that being only three on stage we sound as an army, and we’re really proud of it. This is a real and serious thing for us. Our appearance means our natural character, and over the stage is where we can be what we are. So… We don’t interpret. We express ourselves. 15. - Actually the band has put out their new stuff entitled ‘Implacabilis Procella Cupiditatis" released under AZERMEDOTH RECORDS, How you signed with this record label from Mexico? Give us a brief comment about the contract terms? In 2011 we released our “Back from The Underworld” promo made with the intention to look for a worth label to release our second episode, and while touring Mexico in that summer, we met the guy from Azermedoth Records who showed himself so raved about it. He asked us to release the promo in professional format and we decided to improve the sound of the promo songs with a new mastering, record two new songs and creating a new art-work for his release. In February of 2012 we sent him the master and the art, and “Implacabilis Procella Cupiditatis” finally was released in September of 2012 with a six months delay which he gave us 200 copies this year when we toured again in Mexico to present the cd. 16. - What differences will have to the previous releases? Comments us about the tracks, composition and other situations in the production, etc? The difference is that this is not a new episode in the story of Abrahel. We can say this is an EP (even lasting 43’:25” long) or a compilation if you want to, and was formerly a promo with and intro created for the occasion, two demo version songs from our next album, a song in Spanish called “Existencia Maldita” composed only for the promo, and a Bathory cover. Then for the Azermedoth edition of “Implacabilis…” in professional cd we added two regular BM new songs composed for this edition as I previously explained. The good was giving me the chance and allow myself the license to compose something out of my story, and something I really have wanted to do for a long time ago like “Existencia Maldita” and “We Are Legion”. “Existencia Maldita” is our first song in Spanish and for sure it won’t be the last. That’s the musicalization of four poems from “Don Héctor Escobar Gutiérrez” who’s considered the Southamerican Black Pope with a final poem from my own crop just to unify everything in a one same thing. Everything around this song was magical in the composing and recording process, and (I don’t know the high quantity of times I’ve listened it) is a song that still now shakes me inside and gives me goose bumps when listening it. We had the chance when touring Colombia in 2011 to meet Don Héctor and show him the song, and he was pretty astonished and excited. This hasn’t been the first time an extreme metal band uses some of his poems or texts in a song, and he knows perfectly what a guttural, throaty and a torn voice it is… For us was a big thing to know the man and share a great conversation taking a coffee with his huge humanity and humor sense. We Are Legion is something I wanted to do out of my story too. A regular BM song with regular BM lyrics about what we are. A bill of principles. 17.-The internet is undoubtedly a support and help to the bands but is also killing the underground, what is your opinion about to the web zines with respect to the zines printed…? Well… I don’t think internet is killing the underground when it’s a tool that allows you to know a lot of great bands that, in other way, you couldn’t be able to discover… A webzine, blogspot and so on, is something fast done by someone with the intention to inform on net, and the fanzines are something warmer and physical you can collect. And next year, the other, and until the end of times you will have it in your own to read it the times you want and wherever you want, while the internet link will disappear sooner or later. 18. - Do you think we will be able to see some day ABRAHEL alive, here in South American lands? Of course! It’s been three times in Mexico and twice in South America we’ve been blasting around. Now we’re working on the next tour of this year, so… Be ready and prepared for the arrival of Abrahel to your city, Evilfuckers!!! 19.-Which is the next steps to the band? Recording our next episode that it will be entitled “Black Birth”, touring everywhere we can, and continue walking our impious journey with straight head and solid footsteps as the persons and the band we are. 20.-Thanks for your time, I leave you to the final message and give their blasphemous to the South American bangers? INFERNAL PUSSY INTERVIEW-MARCH 2013

Who thought that the Colombian scene not had bands of women, this is very wrong. A few years ago are released a flood of all kinds of metal led exclusively by women, there are thrash, death, black, speed, heavy metal. Likewise, it’s an excellent varied metal juicy for the musical and visual delight (wonderful women). INFERNAL PUSSY is one of those bands, I didn’t say that are excellent musicians, but if they have power, strength and devotion to the black art. They recently did a tour by several countries in South american that included PERU, it being a new band had good reception from the bangers and the mean, there I had the opportunity to hear your work and I thought it would be a good opportunity to know more of this band led by a women. I leave you with this interview and enjoy.it or die!!!!!.. 1.-What was the reaction of the public, to hear the 'INFERNAL PUSSY' name for the first time? Is it because they decided to use that name so direct and with a very clear message? Who put the name to worship him? When the band was formed, it was because get bored of everything outside dressed in metal knowing that women are also protagonists are daughters of the cursed and dirty, because it’s the meaning of LUCIFER. It’s a dark life, we wanted that name said everything that needed saying to female level and it was the idea of VIKING BLACK and MISS THRASHER liked that idea. 2.-You are in cali, a city accustomed to give us bands of black /thrash and death metal, including yours also are goes through that same metal genre. It was difficult to entering to the scene mostly led by men? How was the first shows that took place, as regards the acceptance of the bangers? As the idea emerged of viking black, she is into metal scene several years in Cali city. Then, we were well accepted by the old bangers. Since there are few women who continue on the path of darkness and there VIKING BLACK joined in the band, she was a metal banger from years ago with his blasphemous project which was accepted by old bangers. The news still have a great moralisms typically of childrens. With respect to the first show in our city it was total acceptance by the idea and the band madness. 3-Was difficult to find the stable line-up? With the add of MOMIA DARK what won the band in your opinion? At the beginning it was difficult for the thematic of the band but MOMIA DARK and VIKING BLACK have been friends for many years ago were these that listened metal sound together so VIKING BLACK proposed to MOMIA DARK and she was accept that their ideas were blasphemous and his mind and body were so I go what it was. 4. -There is a boom in bands of women in Colombia, particularly in the metal, Why do you believe it should be this? What others good female bands can you mention? Lucifera 5.- With only one released, a demo and Were launched by the South American tour. As was the conception of this tour and how many countries visited? We were only in Peru and Bolivia because didn't make the time for a complete tour by our work and if only with this because we know that is what we had. 6.-What were the high and low points of this tour? There were bad organizers? All points were positive, only in juliaca climate change to one of our members got us sick too, and all the organizers were brutal. 7.-Talking about of the acceptance of the audience, Somebody´s already knew their tracks? Were some of these tracks singings? Yezz!!! Many people singing some of our tracks, very good acceptance, and very good tour, it was brutal!!! 8.-At the start of this tour were goals, these were achieved? Yezz!! All of them, Play metal, Drink a lot, eat, and fuck and take it well everything was accomplished with excellence heheheh!!. 9.-'ASESINOS DE LA NOCHE', the first demo of the band has a sound dirty, very similar to demos of the 80's, strictly speaking the sound recording. It Was this sound intentional, something which the band you were looking for? If this sound is total influence of tastes eighties of the drummer and vocalist and with something modern guitar influence but the drums is totally eighty, it is an intentional sound because it is what we hear. 10.-In the demo the curious are the titles of the tracks, all were written so direct, calling things by their name and sound at once infernal and better sung in Spanish, it is sounding even more dirty this is intentional? Adding in the mainly of tracks titles the infernal females of each one of yours. Are you agree with this perception? Clear that it is intentional is something perverted that we have in our minds all arose from perverse ideas that talk about us in the solitude of the rich which is the hellish pleasure all are sung as the perverse soul and as it has to be because so is the fetishes that we have in mind and our loneliness. 11.-There are some medias who think that metal should be touched with quality and the musicians must be excellent... I say this because I was reading some reviews of yours, and many webzines do not like the band sound because it lacks musical quality to them. Do you have some comments for them? I would say we do that we want to do and fuck you all!!! Also we played what want us and FUCK YOU ALL and hear what they want hear this became for us and for those who them want hear us so that there is have to choose just not hear INFERNAL PUSSY. 12.-Tell us about the new work is coming... the new topics that have been created are very different from the old, or will keep the same sound and cruelty than the previous work? What innovations will have? First of all we have not yet recorded anything professional because we were totally empirical and started our topics without knowing play so first let's get together the two first demos ASESINOS DE LA NOCHE and LLAMADOS DE SUCUBOS and will draw something professional like full length CD , then will think get new tracks and obviously more worked because as time goes by better we are. 13.-I Know that you are preparing a new tour for this year, What news do you submit can give us a foretaste of what will be this tour, as it will be called and that countries will include? This time we want to arrive to chile since we are inviting up to there, we are giving time to time since we have things do regarding CD recordings, shows, etc. All emerged very fast so you have to do things well done you have thought in December 2013 to go with our new CD promotioning. (EQUADOR, PERU, ARGENTINAN AND CHILE). We have contacts in Brazil but all depending on the time that takes the tour. 14.-Any last comments to the readers of this cursed MAGAZINE of communication for all real bangers? Of course. WISDOM: ‘SACRA PRIVATA’-CD-2010 new version-PARAGUAY-15 TRACKS: This CD has a few years of released but Recently, just I got some months ago of the hands of the same SELDRAK (drummer and leader of the band). and I thought it was appropriate to make a review. The CD includes many bonus of previous work and that indicates that you'll hear as the band to evolved in their sound to what is today. Perhaps, The band is one of the more professional bands on this side of the world, with a staging and sound very European, it’s makes that many people including myself call it the South American DIMMU BORGIR. And that is not bad because it is without doubt a very technical band, with proficiency in scene, good knowledge of instruments and much creativity to fit each riff perfectly one with the other. The bad thing is that I prefer a sound more dirty, more South American who develop a black metal Nordic more without feeling, very coldest, on the other hand can't stop mentioning constancy for offering a good product to the bangers by this good band. The recording is very good, and great production too. A great CD for lovers of black metal Nordic……………………………………………………………………………………….7.6/10 VENOMOUS BLADE : ‘A TOMORROW NOT SO DISTANT’ –PRO CD-R 2012- 4 TRACKS-BRASIL: Another band of HEAVY METAL in this new Issue, And this is very good because all tendencies of true metal are here... the word heavy metal is feeling and the essence of true metal literally speaking. As well, this band plays a heavy metal inspired most in late 70's and early 80's by adding the benefits of technology to the recording, giving an air more modern but inspired in the old glories - inspired tracks are even in concept, except for the first which is the more fast so to speak, because everything is mid tempo or slow tempo, then the other 3 tracks 'THE without OF WAR', 'SHEPERDS OF DEATH' and 'OBSOLESCENCE', are a mix between PAGAN ALTAR and PICTURE ('TRAITOR' LP), between slow tempo to mid tempo,but sometimes are sounding very doom metal. The riffs are heavy and slow, but even so they are strong, the vocal parts are powerful and epic/medieval times typical bands of this kind of metal. The music is simple in construction of rhythms, there is lots of variety but you contains good rhythms that brings good memories to those who we heard this music since the late 70's and 80's………………………………………………………………………………………………...................................7/10 www.facebook.com/venblade allissonkich@Hotmail.com CIDADE CEMITERIO: ‘ASA MORTE’-CD 2012- 10 TRACKS-BRASIL: Really I don't know if it is a parallel project or Personal band or a band seriously taken by PONEY bassist from VIOLATOR) and follow the steps to his band and his main influence HARDCORE. This work is in the border of the hardcore thrash not vice versa. This work is a mixture between MINOR THREAT/A. O. D/ATTITUDE ADJUSMENT & CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER, In a few words is simply hardcore punk, fast and straightforward melodies without many cuts or technical swings. Topics are written as sequences where the CD after the start and after some narration tracks news becomes like a newscast, it gives a special touch to this work. For those who like the bands above this work will bring you to ecstasy. The best of all is the simplicity of music and are very well executed "………………..good work based on 80’s hardcore thrash………......................................7.1/10 Cidadecemiterio@gmail.com CRUCIFEXUS ‘SELF TITTLE’- PRO CD-R 2010- 11 TRACKS –BOLIVIA: Of this band, I‘ve had heard his first job and on that occasion their proposal seemed a quite interesting and with this work does more than confirm this. I don’t like very much your music. Essentially, leave me a good drink of beer, nothing sweet nothing bitter, just to quench my thirst. This time the music has no definition, even though they think they are black metal, from the beginning the music is basically heavy metal with harmonic riffs and rhythms with many death metal touches on some tracks and touches with effusive posts anti-Christian with typical black-oriented vocal a la Bolivian metal, which is this vocalist already not this more join in the band, I must to hear to the new vocalist to give my opinion, but on this occasion I am dealing only with this work. Recording not liked much by missing weight on guitars, I do not say that the guitarist is bad but rather it is the best on this CD. Anyway, I think that the band is necessary to find a good sound engineer to be get a better recording sound. The guitars could have sounded heavier, with more power, is very sharp to say the digital. The tracks are structured specifically to showcase the guitarist and I see that positive because their music so warrants. Anyway, the music is very uneven speeds, some tracks are mid paced other total fast in total speed typical of death/black metal, A work that could be better. 220 VOLTIOS 'SELF TITTLE'-2010- CD-R PRO-12 tracks-PARAGUAY: It was about time that this magazine will present a band of true HEAVY METAL, since 2 numbers that I did not have the opportunity to get our pages a work like this. 220 VOLTS preaches a pure heavy metal , influenced by many glories of the style from AC DC to Metallica, passing by the spanish heavy metal MURO and the hard rock of the Argentines RIFF and HORCAS, giving a fresh air with their own touches, printing many times its own stamp to the interesting rhythms are well made and strong rhythms of raging riffs, accompanied by a powerful voice that makes this work forced to all headbanger. The songs are well constructed with great accuracy, and solid structures. Sometimes are thrash and others hard rock, other pure heavy metal with a great job in guitars, where the only melodic's are sometimes quick but excellent. The truth that this work left me very good taste in the mouth. Great product…………………………………………7.8/10
